Legionella E-Learning – Your Questions Answered

E-learning provides delegates with consistent, quality assured knowledge at a time to suit them. Each course can be stopped, saved, and resumed at a later time if required, providing a flexible course to fit around the individual’s workload. The portal enables managers to work with their staff to contextualise the learning to the workplace.

Who is the target audience?
This training is aimed at staff of all levels.  Different courses are available depending on varying roles and responsibilities.

 To what industries does the course apply?
Course material has been developed to meet regulatory requirements of the HSE and other industry bodies.  The training course is therefore relevant to all industries. Training material can be easily adapted to meet specific needs of organisations.

Can the training material be branded to meet corporate needs?
Corporate branding can be integrated into the system, including a company specific home page.

 Can the training material be provided on CD or loaded onto our own system?
The training material is built to SCORM and AICC standards, meaning it is compatible with many different systems. We do not provide the course on CD, but work closely with organisations to ensure staff can access material easily.

Can I access and amend the system data directly?
Yes.  Once you purchase the material we will train someone in your organisation to act as administrator.  Administrators can set people up on the site, track their progress, and ensure completion of training courses.

Can we use the system to ensure ongoing training compliance?
The system automatically contacts all delegates 12 months after completing the programme to ask them to undergo an assessment to establish their continued understanding. The administrator can also easily check the system to establish when staff require refresher training.   

What happens if a delegate fails the assessment?
If the delegate does not meet set targets they will be required to undertake further training on the aspects with which they struggled.
